Feriye Mansion is located on what is called the Sahil Yolu or road that runs along the shore of the Bosphorus.  The Sahil Yolu basically runs the length of the European side of Istanbul and is one of Istanbul’s busiest roads, particularly during rush hour.  Unfortunately, it is not one of Istanbul’s biggest roads – at times it is only 1 or 2 lanes – and there are many lights, which means traffic is terrible.  That being the case, you want to allow for plenty of travel time to reach the reception on time.  In a taxi, allow for the following travel times:

From Sultanahmet to Feriye: 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours
From Taksim to Feriye: 45 minutes to 1 hour
From Beşiktaş or Ortaköy to Feriye: 15 minutes

Note, the reception will be outdoors and it can get windy and cool by the Bosphorus in the evenings, so ladies may want to bring a shawl or a wrap, just in case they get cold.
